We actually got stuck at the top of the roller coaster for 5 minutes.

Today we went on a field trip with D's preschool. A great thing about going to Sea World in the spring is all the babies. Fun fact belugas are born grey. We saw a baby beluga whale named Pearl.

I love doing my nails! I feel like its something I can do that adds some UMPH to my look. Most days I don't get much time to get dressed but if my nails look nice I feel put together. Lately I've been changing nail lacquers from my old stand by brands OPI & Essie to brands with less chemicals. Butter and Julep are 3 free companies. That means they don't have Formaldehyde, Toluene or DBP. Both companies have great colors to pick from and when you do your nails you won't get a headache.

Bags The Modern Classics

I got this lovely book from the library. I'd like to buy this book because it's filled with great patterns and really detailed instructions.

I like the colors of the fabric. However I should have used a heavier fabric so the bag would keep its shape better.

Butterfly Jungle

D and his best buddy. They're a couple of old souls.

We went to San Diego Wild Animal Park (I think it's called Safari Park now). Right now for a limited time they have Butterfly Jungle. It was really amazing because there were so many butterflies flying around. When we went last year it was near the end of the exhibit so there weren't as many butterflies. Sadly, again this year no butterflies landed on us.

We got wet. I didn't mind it just meant more time with my man.
They said it was going to be a big storm but I didn't really believe it. It was so windy we had to stay an unexpected extra day. No boats were running on Sunday due to weather.

Crazy weather

It was raining and Sunday...I couldn't help but bake! I have Martha Stewart's Everyday Food app on my phone. I really like this app because you can save your favorite recipes. It's like I always have my cookbook with me.

Rainy weekend

It rained again this weekend in our neck of the woods. After leaving church Sunday we saw this beautiful rainbow.
